New Sage Shipping link to replace Starship? I just heard that SAGE has decided on a shipping software called Smartlink and that they are looking for a partner to integrate it to MAS. Has anyone else heard this? Has anyone every used Smartlink?

I am thinking it might also be called Shipping exchange?

I have not used it although the company is in Milwaukee.

Just a WAG but I'm sure the bidding went something like this: a. Who will accept a 20% royalty b. Who will charge per transaction and share 80% to Sage c. Sold Sage seems to be moving to the transactional marketplace. I wouldn't be surprised to see more giveaway software such as Credit Cards where the fee is collected as customers use the software .. perpetually. As some of this rolls out (assuming it does) the bigger question is whether VARS will be compensated and to what degree.

I agree with the logic, and the percentage that goes to the var's will be in the neighborhood of something between McDonalds and Applebees for lunch per month.
