    If you were not on the Sage Quarterly Partner Call yesterday, you may have missed this.  Mike Ritchie announced as part of his "demo" during the call that Sage 100 now has access to what they are calling "Sage Help Agent".  It is found on the white ribbon of the Sage 100 Information Center (you may need to browse right or left to find it).  You can also right click and REFRESH to get the icon added as one of the black boxes below the white ribbon.  I tested in v2022, v2023, v2024 and v2025 (it worked in all those versions); and was told it is available in all versions that have the "Sage 100 Information Center".  

    I emailed Mike Ritchie and he is asking all partners to click and launch, and ask questions.  When asking questions, they really need us to respond to the "Does it Help?" with a Yes or No, and if you answer NO, explain why the answer was wrong or not 100% complete.  Most of what I am seeing are detailed explanations then links to help topics.  I asked if this will read the data in your company and reply, or is it Sage 100 Software Help only, the response is below. 

    Audience QuestionQ: the AI Agent is "how to do it" not actual read the data and "do the reconciliation" correct?
    A: For now, MStefanou. We will be showing a prototype for Semantic search of data at both the upcoming 90 Minds conference for Sage 100, and for both Sage 300 and 100 at Sage Future. No ETA on GA availability, but it's coming!

    From my brief testing (as Sage states) this is just a better UI for the help files

    - does not appear to recognize Sage KB articles - for example if you ask about an error message the Sage Help Agent just says it must be a problem with the program named at the line given
    - It does not color outside the lines - for example it does not pull in any knowledge from trusted domains such as the Sage Community. It sure would be cool if you were to ask about ACH setup and it not only gave how to do this ( which it does ) but also a heads up that there may be changes coming based on current discussions in the community then link to the community.

    It's not going to take consultant jobs yet. I'll be very interested to watch and see if Sage improves this beyond it being a front end for their help files.

    So I asked it how to upgrade Sage Intelligence to 2025 and it told me all about Sage Supply Chain Intelligence instead, then I asked it how to email invoices to customers in Accounts Receivable and it took me to the "Email" option on the Invoice Printing screen... which doesn't exist.

    Not yet ready for prime time - my customers can get this same bad info on the web.

    This is why maintaining our own 90 Minds knowledge is so important. The mantra "if it's to be it's up to me" is something that correctly summarizes the state of Sage's knowledgebases.

    Sage talked a little about this "AI Help" during MOTM 2026. One think they did not mention is you can presently use it via the web at https://sage100searchhelp.sage.com/

    They say a future enhancement will also include knowledgebase articles though it's unknown what the timeline is or whether only select KB articles will be included. They also said that future version would be able to give version specific advice.
