New promotions are out. Off plan winback (I believe this is for N-3 or greater aka N-3+): How it works Off-plan customers whose last shipped product is generally three versions (or more) behind the current version (N-3+) will be included. Refer to the explicit version releases in Participating Products chart further down in this email. Reinstatements for N-3+ customers will be treated as New License. These customers will purchase the current version of the product at 25% discount, plus a one-year Sage Business Care plan. New License margin applies to product orders and M&S margin applies to the one-year Sage Business Care plan. N-3+ off-plan customers who purchase the current version are eligible for user-based pricing. Note: I believe this is a change from the prior quarter when the promotion was 30% off. This quarter (ending 12/31/13) offers an additional incentive of one 12-month mobile solution of your choice below for free. Sage Mobile Sales Sage Mobile Service Note: From my observation it appears winbacks are a large part of new sales now. Sage counts these as if you sold a new product so it's tough to make a true determination from info released by Sage (aka new customers) as to exactly how many sales were truly ""new"" aka never had Sage 100 before. Here's a link to the winback info expiring 12/31/13 one 12-month mobile solution of your choice below for free. http://cdn.na.sage.com/sagemail/SageMail/Off_Plan_Promotion_100113.html Here's a link to the Q4 promo mailing (most of these expire 12/31/13): https://www.evernote.com/shard/s1/sh/f53cce05-1513-4159-b42b-635785e74e14/953f9233127548df9d25448dc6b6d830

As noted - these winbacks are computed based on user based pricing not per module. Take the number of users times the per user bundle price and then back out the applicable discount and remember to add in the full maintenance at either Silver or Gold. Here is the user based price list (also linked via Socialcast in the upper right corner of the opening Socialcast screen). http://cdn.na.sage.com/sagemail/SageMail/Sage_100_ERP_Price_List_080113.pdf

Last quarter it was 30% discount. Guess there isn't quite the incentive since the quarter is not someone's year end.

Thankfully it's much easier (aka faster) to compute these winback promos now that they are based on user pricing.

Of course, Sage would prefer you propose subscription on Winbacks also - includes the 25% discount on the first two years of payments. This should be easier to sell, as long as the customer doesn't start doing a comparative analysis and decide it's better to pay up front. If they do that, then they decide to do nothing.
