New Production Management Pricing

Does anyone have a picture of the Production Management pricing that was shown at 90 Minds?  I recall they had full users and data collection users.  We're being asked for a ballpark price by a client looking to add it to their existing 100c install but Sage doesn't have any "official" pricing released yet.  I realize it could change but wanted to get somewhat close if I can.

Can you post the pricing or send to me by PM? I also have an existing install looking for more information for planning. Thanks!

Here is the document I found, pricing is on the last page.  When we asked Sage they said the pricing wasn't finalized yet but we needed some numbers and went with these and a *subject to change by Sage disclaimer.

I'm going to prepare my WO and MRP customers. Is this the math everyone else came up with?
If my translation from Sagescript is correct, when the May 15 or June 28 version of the price list comes out:
    • Existing WO subscribers see a bump from $960/year to $1134/year for a 3-user PM subscription.  That's a $174 increase if they only need 3 users. (Based on an annual subscription)
    • Existing MRP subscribers get exactly the same.
    • So, if you owned both, you would actually go down from $1920/year to 1134/year, right?  Can that be right?
I think I asked in one preview session if Sage 100 would distinguish between which kind of PM license (WO or MRP) you were using.  (Recall, they mentioned Master Console would identify which sessions were using a PM license.) I believe they hadn't worked that out at the time.  Please chime in if anyone knows something different from the above.

Did we figure out if your PM users also use a Sage 100 license?  Or is there the potential to drop some regular users as you get PM users?

Yes, $1,134 is correct for 3-user PM.
Yes, a decrease to $1,134, but you have to wait until the end of June for the "MRP" to be released in PM (which will be CEM).
PM users do use a Sage 100 license, but you may have less PM user licenses than Sage 100 licenses.

There is a note on the order form that WO is discontinued as of 5/14/2019, which is when PM is released. I find this to be confusing, but must be only for additions, not existing users.

The order form also has a message that you must have the Complete bundle to have PM. Advanced always worked fine for Sage Manufacturing, so I question this.

Please also note that on this new order form, the 36-month tier calculation for monthly subscriptions on Sage 100 only calculates 1 month of tier. I have reported this. (So always check the results on these new forms - they are not always correct.)

They had that problem a few price lists ago, too, and I had to go back and see if I had placed any orders while the tier calc was wrong!
Thanks, I'm glad to have confirmation on what I understood.  Valid question on the Advanced v. Complete.  Nothing about WO 2019 really requires BOM, from what I heard in the training, right?  You can make a WO without tying it to a BOM, he pointed out.

@Rhonda McNamara Correct, you do not need to use BOM, but magically you will have it, since you must have the Complete bundle. There will be situations where using BOM will save time, however.

@Wayne Schulz As far as I know, PM licenses are also concurrent. I believe the restriction will be to PM functions and that is controlled by Scanco.

According to Darin at Scanco regarding the requirement for the Complete bundle:

"That change was made to ensure Production Management end-users had the Mobility module which will be required for the Shop Floor User."

Please remember this when pricing for customers. Mobility has always been optional and the new annual subscription is $1,037. This is more than going from Advanced to Complete for smaller user counts, so this works out, but once you pass 12 Sage 100 users, going to Complete is a greater investment.

Are PM licenses named? I'm not entirely clear how Sage will restrict access otherwise ( except that they require 3 user minimum which is probably more than what 90% of companies  need anyhow )

I hope if this is named users that we don't see regular Sage licensing become named.

Related, @Wayne Schulz, I recall Sage saying they were moving toward a pay for what you use model where you could scale up in busy season and down in low season.  Of course, for all intent and purposes, you can do that now, without penalty.  It's not like you have that up front fee anymore.  It's not really convenient, but they did add that web page for removing users or modules, so that's one step.

Do existing WO/MRP users still on perpetual module-based licensing need to repurchase PM and new MRP for $4,410 each? Or will they have a PM subscription separate from the other M&S similar to how payroll is handled?

I thought PM was to be subscription only, and not available to perpetual customers...?

My understanding is that PM is available to perpetual customers but you need to have PM licenses for the same quantity of Sage 100 perpetual licenses.  If the installation is subscription then you can buy however many licenses you want but a minimum of three.  Also, there are a few features such as dynamic inventory that are only available when using 100Cloud.

@Doug Higgs is correct. PM is available for perpetual and the user count must be the same as Sage 100 perpetual licenses. Cost increases in annual maintenance occur upon renewal. Dynamic inventory and dynamic labor features are not available on perpetual. MRP will be a separate module when available.
