New Merge Module Object Holder Object 1 -- Access is Denied. I'm getting this error on v4.4 PU5 workstation setup for one workstation running Windows 7. Other workstations which appear identical (OS, login rights) load fine. Do suspect rights but has anyone encountered this?

Spotted this pretty early on. Naturally user is logged in as GOD and issue persists. No other workstations have this issue so I may let IT manage it. http://www.sagesoftwareonline.com/sw_attach/kdb.asp?isresolutionconceptid=513762

Even GOD has issues if the login ISN'T the administrator! How many times have we been told the user has admin EQUIVALENCEs?

They claim local, network admin login .

I suppose you looked at the possible AV conflict. Is Windows Defender turned on?

That's a good thought -- this network is tightly managed so getting AV disconnected/temporarily turned off is going to be difficult. I'll probably put it back in the IT lap where it belongs or submit a post go-live change request.

Turns out that the problem was WKSETUP folder (and possibly more) did not have proper permissions. Recurring theme of these problems seems to be that administrative permissions on one server do not automatically in every instance apply to other servers..
