    Anyone get this message?

"Microsoft.NET v2 and WSE2 must be installed prior to using the Avalara Avatax Adapter"

This is on a 64-bit Windows 11 Pro workstation when accessing modules after v2024 PU1 Sage 100 Standard upgrade. Client has AvaTax and InstaDocs.
I've manually registered both AvaTax and InstaDocs on this workstation and it shows successful registration.

But I receive the message above when accessing a module that uses AvaTax.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Enable the .NET Framework 3.5 in Control Panel

You can enable the .NET Framework 3.5 through the Windows Control Panel. This option requires an Internet connection.

    1.    Press the Windows key Screenshot of the Windows key logo. on your keyboard, type "Windows Features", and press Enter. The Turn Windows features on or off dialog box appears.

    2.    Select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) check box, select OK, and reboot your computer if prompted.

Screenshot showing installation of .NET with the control panel.

You don't need to select the child items for Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) HTTP Activation and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Non-HTTP Activation unless you're a developer or server administrator who requires this functionality.

Is it ok for two versions to be enabled on the workstation?  3.5 and 4.5?

Brett, I enabled the 3.5 and left 4.5 enabled as well. This worked and client is able to login now.  TYVM!
