    v2019 Advanced.  Is there a utility to set all of the item's Standard Cost to either Average Cost or Last Cost?

    Automatic Cost and Price Change if the valuation method isn't Std.
    Standard Cost Adjustment Selection if the valuation method IS Std.

    I recommend a standard disclosure/disclaimer to the customer that you are not in the business of providing tax or accounting advice. A change in inventory valuation method may require certain approvals and should be first discussed with your financial advisor.

    Most of my customers laugh in my face when I launch into this. I've been doing this long enough to not care and to know that down the road if this type of a switch becomes a problem then I'm not on the hook.

    They are not changing inventory valuation methods.  All items are average cost.  They want the to set all of the standard costs in item maintenance, for every item code,  to either the last cost or the average cost.  Usually the last cost and the average cost are the same because they turn the inventory quickly.

    I know I could export the average or last cost to Excel with ALE then use VI to change the standard cost.  I was curious if there was a utility that could do it for me.  I looked at the  automatic cost and price change but couldn't determine a way to accomplish this.

    VI job from ODBC source... no need to export, just point VI at SOTMAS90.
