Need to compute On Hand Qty in Inventory at a specific period end. I know I'll need to sum fields in IM_ItemWhseHistoryByPeriod for each month. I've searched everywhere for the Item/Warehouse beginning quantity and can't find the darned field anywhere. Help!

If I recall, isn't that a calculated field and not available?

I would sum the transaction quantity in IM_ItemTransactionHistory instead.

I must be confusing Inventory with GL beginning balances. I can sum transactions but jeez that's a big file.

The data is in the IM_PeriodPostingHistory table by item code/warehouse code/fiscal year and period

I have a ""Recast Inventory Quantities on Hand"" report that peels back IM_ItemWarehouse to a given date using IM_TransactionDetail. On what version would you use it?

@DianaLaughner I got sidetracked and haven't addressed this yet. @DanBurleson i would be grateful to see this in v2016 or v2017.
