Need a solution to the following - Do you happen to know if 4.5 Sage addresses the issues of costing & selection of GL acct #'s when doing inventory transactions? i.e. in inventory issues you can assign the GL # but you can't change the cost and in adjustments you can change the cost but not the GL account #. This is a HUGE issue for us. Is this an extended solution or candidate for MD modification?

What valuation method are you using?

By the way, you want to be careful about changing costs on those transactions because you can end up with some wrong postings to the GL as to what actually happens in the inventory.

So my answer is that nothing has changed regarding cost adjustments and GL Accounts in either Issues or Adjustments. And I've not heard of any MD mod dealing with this. Would be nice though.
