  • 1.  Mystery lines being added to bottom of existing PO

    Posted 10-03-2019 14:45
Have a strange one ....  Customer upgraded from 2016 to 2019SU1

Had an existing PO which has been open for months with partial receiving every few weeks, that has 100 or so items, followed by 4 comment lines.

Claims (and can show) that since they upgraded to 2019, lines are being added at the bottom of the PO, after the comment
lines, and no-one is doing it in PO entry.  Same people doing the same functions ....

Any thoughts, even ideas from left field, are appreciated... what might be causing this ???

    Thanks

Any lines added to a RoI / RoG could write back to the parent PO.

I didn't see any ROG, but I will look at the lines to see if they did an ROI and instead of finding the item, maybe they added it at the end - if the line has qty invoiced and no quantity received, I will know.

    Will check...

    Thanks

One user was adding the items being invoiced to the bottom of the ROI, rather than finding them, since there were hundreds of items on the PO - .....

The supervisors asked - "Shouldn't this be a warning if you enter an item # that is already on the PO ? "

Anyway, thanks for the push in the right direction - the users said "nothing has changed....."
