  • 1.  Mysterious appearance of Edge SPC icon on user desktops

    Client reports that 3 users have new Edge/SPC icons appear on their desktops at some point in the day after they have logged onto SPC and Sage 100 using Edge in Windows mode.  It doesn't happen immediately - they notice it sometime later in the day.  I was not able to witness the behavior during a screensharing session.  Last Thursday it began for one user, then two more today.  No reported Windows updates.  Has anyone else had this experience?

    @Russell Berman They have been on SPC for a couple years now.  They launch Sage by pressing the left-most Application button on your screenshot.

    If you go to this video from DSD at the 12:15 mark they show you how to add an SPC Icon as an application on the desktop. Wondering if they somehow did that?

    I created desktop icons for them when they moved to SPC, so that's not new.
