  • 1.  My sense is there is not a lot of support for this project

My sense is that there is not a lot of support for this concept and/or that membership would just like to pay their dues and have someone else maintain this type of data for them. Historically we have always just "hung out the Bat-Signal" and waited for members to jump in and help.

Perhaps I / we should take a step back before moving forward any further and tally up the votes of the active volunteers for this?

I do think I got a little ahead of myself and I'm willing to lend suggestions to a group of volunteers. I suggest 3 or more actively participating people would make this a go and less than that should table the concept.

    Hi Wayne

I agree  - we need some momentum and engagement.   But we have yet to fully deploy, so there will likely be some questions and guidance that will need to be given.   We need some specific messaging as well.  I have some current time constraints on the administrative side as we have our retreat in a few weeks.   But I know this will be on the discussion list.   I did create a group email and I am still learning the navigation of the Google groups and how to manage the users and content.    I want to be comfortable with the process before we fully promote it.

In the interim, I hope that you continue with this project and keep promoting it.  There is 100 percent value in what is already done even if it has not been fully shared.

I do want to help but the timing is absolutely horrible: I'll do more Sage upgrades in the next four weeks than I've personally done in five years. After that, things clear up and I'll have more time to devote to this.

Same here - totally crushed, no idea when it will stop.

One thing I can do is to upload files - which I can do while working on upgrades, etc.  So when the folder structure is finalized (in detail) I can upload missing versions, service updates and the like.
