My customers got an invitation to a Sage Summit A

My customers got an invitation to a Sage Summit Avalara party. They didn't invite me. Not to seem bitter but I don't like it. It is one thing to solicit my customers but inviting them to a party at Summit and excluding me is rude. I'm the person that talked them into attending Sage Summit.

I can understand being upset. Have you contacted Avalara? It seems that they've re-arranged sales reps recently - mine changed and I know John Hoyt mentioned his changed. I'm sure it wasn't intentional Doug.

@MoiraGoggin No i haven't contacted Avalara. It feels a little strange calling someone and asking for an invitaion. I just believe it to be in poor taste to contact end users and by-pass the business partner. These are Avalara prospects not even shared customers.

Perhaps they are taking their lead from Sage.. But FWIW, every since the Nashville one in 2013, the Avalara parties have been too croweded, the room too small and just not any fun at all.

I get that @DougHiggs however Avalara will never know that you are upset unless you tell them, If you want something to change you need to let them know that there is a problem and give them a chance to correct it.

@JeffSchwenk I'm with you.. crashing the party... screw them.. They are going to pay for the snub and better stock up on the food and top-shelf booze.

I'm going to take a couple of trays of shrimp cocktail back to the hotel room.

I got an invite, and now I'm feeling guilty.

Just don't eat the shrimp so Doug has something to take some food and quality booze back.

LOL.. In all seriousness... I don't think it is a mere oversight. I get marketing email material from Avalara every other day. It seems strange that three of my customers get invited and Avalara somehow missed sending me an invitation. I'm on at least one of the email lists.

Thanks to @RobertWood for finding the registration link - the Avalara party on 7/29 (plus registration link) is now in the [90 Minds Sage Summit 2015 GroupMe](https://groupme.com/join_group/13600428/ZRoC5P)
