My concern about giving Peter and Eric free tickets is that Moira has also done a great deal of work, as have others. If we're going to give Peter a free ride, I don't want the committee to know. That isn't really a committee question but rather an admin one. My .02...

Not going to disagree but I actually would be fine with Moira getting a free ticket too. My vote is Peter and Moira get free MOTM tickets and Eric has to pay.

Let's keep this to ourselves though so as not to offend the other committee members.

BTW,. This is not from her committee work . it is for all her working on the Knowledgebase and the work on the affiliates ( sponsors).

I agree but the other committee members may not know that. And they don't necessarily know that we admin get free passes either.

Peter asked me about free tickets for him and Eric. I proposed this yesterday and advised that Peter has given an enormous amount of feedback and helpful effort around affiliates and overall group direction. Eric I felt was also a great member for the time he assisted with SI and answered member questions, etc. The tentative feedback according to my memory - yes on Peter, no on Eric mostly because Eric was also a paid presenter and compensated for his efforts. At that point Therese suggested we talk privately in Admin -- which is where her conversation picks up above.

I agree on Jim's suggestion of yes to Moira & Peter but no to Eric.

Moira has already registered and paid for the full four day event.

I am interested in topics such as this on diversification. I'd like them to keep it on the briefer side. I think hearing their thoughts on MSFT CRM would be valuable to me.

The reason for Salesforce suggestion is to give members a comparison of how it stacks up with MSFT and Sage.

@WayneSchulz have you discussed this with Peter, i.e. him getting a free pass but Eric needing to pay? Eric emailed Jim and me again and I told him yes, we would like a Sage and Dynamics CRM session but I didn't mention him having to register. Obviously, we would extend the early bird rate for him but we should get this settled. TIA.

Yes I spoke to Peter today and he asked how to get his ticket. I did not mention anything about Eric but I did advise him earlier that we'd give him a ticket but Eric would pay along with the general reasoning.
