Make a black and white version of the logo?

    My client wants to print A/R invoices in black and white. Their logo file has color in it and no matter what the printer preference settings are, it prints in color. Even added new printer set to black and white only with no success. They get charged more for color print jobs. Any other documents print in black and white to this printer outside MAS90 (4.3.23) including A/R invoices pdf files. We can delete logo, but they prefer not to do that. Any ideas?

    They got it from printer and thought there was no b&w available. I will have them double check.

    Their printer (vendor) should be able to change that in about 20 seconds. if they won't, offer them more money. If that doesn't work, Office Publisher should be able to drain the color for you.

    The printer vendor sent them to me after he gave up. I will try the Publisher route. thanks.....

    What a crack up - I always have the OPPOSITE problem for my clients.

    Shortly after you replace the existing logo with black & white, they'll want the option to print either way. Have you tried looking for an updated printer driver? I'm able to print in black & white from a color invoice in 4.3.23.

    Try hard-coding the printer inside the Crystal form and adjust the color settings in there.

    Their printer guy is coming in today. If they really never want to print anything in color I guess he can set it that way or replace the color toner. Thanks for all the suggestions.

    Oh, the PRINTER hardware guy, not the Printer FORMS guy. Your printer FORMS guy should be able to save the in black and white.

    Sorry, yes I asked about the image from their forms guy. She had not heard back but that seems the easiest. This request is a first for me.....

    Google photo editors online - there are dozens of free ones that will let you upload and convert to BW though I agree with Mark Kotyla.

    This printer sounds like it is a Copier/Printer combination. We have had similar issues with Copier/Printers and the ""Printer Guy"" was able to set it to B/W only for certain sources from within the Copier. The print drivers for some of those things leave a lot to be desired.
