MS Query No Longer Displays in Excel under Get Data | Other Sources due to Microsoft changes.  I experienced this a while back and I found articles that Microsoft took this out and considered it legacy.  I still cannot find it directly thru Excel.  I now have a shortcut on my desktop and my clients servers to use MS Query found under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\MSQRY32.exe.  This works, however it is an extra step.  Has anyone found how to get to it directly thru Excel when using 365.

You can enable it in Excel Options (click File... then look in the lower left for Options).

Need to activate some fields under Excel Options data setup.  Then when you select get data, the legacy wizards will appear.  Screen shots below.

Apparently, Microsoft wants users to start using power queries.

FWIW, there is a 90M thread about this a couple months back.

Thank you so much @Kevin Moyes and @Jeff Schwenk.  This makes it easier.  I missed the earlier post.

Slightly different twist to this issue.  Client's server has Excel installed.  All of the legacy import wizards appear EXCEPT Excel.  Strangely, this version of Excel does not consider the Excel query to be a legacy.  I finally found it under "Other Sources".  Is there any rhyme or reason for this location?

I just checked mine and it's still under Legacy (for a newer build). I guess they keep changing their minds:
