I'm happy with just option 1.  I can see huge accounts maybe making use of one of the others, but don't know that I would have any clients using any of them.

I'd really hoped to see a calendar year option that was the actual calendar year.  The one proposed would be based on the current year in IM Setup Options and if a user hadn't done period end it would not be the current.

The second option should include after 120 days
    Last 365 days

The option duplicates how it works in GL, though, so it's consistent.

I agree with the previous comments and offer the following:

Sage could give the following options:

    1. Module Month (which I believe is how it works now, and this should be the default for conversion, which was not discussed)
    2. Module Year (full year based on the module year)
    3. Transaction Date Month
    4. Transaction Date Year (full year based on transaction date)
    5.  Last 7 Days or newer (based on transaction date)
    6.  Other choices of number of days, and and I agree on adding 365

I think this is a small amount of extra design work and know it is a small amount of coding because we modify this for our clients all the time.

My last two clients did not use Calendar years for GL, an they don't use the last day of the month either.  With that in mind, i think there should be an option for

    * current Fiscal Period and Fiscal Year data (based on Module Date selected by the user when they log into the module)
    * using the user Module Date, current fiscal period plus 1 period backward, or 3 periods backward, or 6 periods backward, or 12 periods backward.

I too prefer to see it based on the "current period", not if the modules have been properly closed in a timely manner.
