I know that some of you have done this and we seem to talk about it from time to time but I can't recall the exact files - if any - that would be moved in this situation.

An existing Sage 100cloud customer writes:

I have a question regarding the Sage user profile settings. As you know currently our users accessing Sage through RDP on Azure Cloud. We are planning to deploy a second RDP server and move some users to the new host.

I was wondering if there is a way to move user profile (custom screen settings, shortcuts, etc.) in Sage? When a user connects to Sage, where is their profile configuration file resides? In one file on RDP or on their local drive?

    Found this in Sage KB

The settings for desktop selection are stored in the BOOTSTRAP.JSON file in the Sage 100 folder under the User's documents folder.

Is there more to this than just copying the above file to the user's new documents folder on the RDP server?

    What about the mnu*.txt files?

Had this experience a while back when user setting became corrupted.  I renamed the folder that these files reside in.  User launched and setting were recreated resolving corruption issue.  User then mentioned all favorites were missing as well.  I copied one file (don't recall which one) from renamed folder and user was happy camper.  So it may be more than one file.

As of now I'm operating on the theory of copying all files the old C:\Users<username>\Documents\Sage\ to the new C:\Users<username>\Documents\Sage\

But think there may be more to this

Remember, Sage stores some settings as table data, keyed on workstation name.

Are you for the MNUCBTN.TXT for shortcuts saved on the ribbon, and MNUTASKP.INI for public My Task menus?
In the screenshot below "DSD" is the sage 100 user ID folder.

This is the structure in v2018, which is the same structure I recall from v4.50.
So I don't think anything major has changed.
I tested to make sure these files contained the information I saw on the Sage 100 launcher.
