  • 1.  MOTM Insurance against epidemics

    An email to me from an association with an annual conference had this interesting sentence:
     
    "Our facility contract for the event provides for a cancellation of our contract if the Center for Disease Control issues a Level 3 Travel Warning for the area." 

    Does our insurance include that rider?

    Our last policy for MOTM 2020 attached.  Our requirement is for liability insurance.  The contract with Sheraton would be the policy for cancellations.

    I had in mind adding it to the checklist for next year's MOTM. I see no need to look it up now since we don't have contracts for 2021 yet.

    Looks like it likely won't matter.  Coronavirus exclusion will be in place in the future.
