    Hello everyone

    I spoke with Robert and Kate this morning and have updated them on what I am hearing from members.  Since last week, there is a significant change in enthusiasm about attending in person in March.  And I am receiving quite a bit of outreach on this subject.  Several key stakeholders have expressed concern or even have said they likely won't travel quite yet.  That combined with what is happening in California (masks required indoors again) - I believe necessitates a conversation with the Board.    It is worth noting, I am days from launching registration for the conference, and I believe on a foundational level - we need to have some core decisions made. Even if they change in a month.  

    Are you available either Thursday or Friday at 10 am Pacific for a meeting?

    Some items for consideration (based on requests from members):

    1.  Vaccine Requirements
    2.  Testing Requirements
    3.  Masking Requirements
    4.  Participant Waivers 
    5.  Hybrid Conference Options
    6.  Potential Other Options (New Dates)
    7.  Vaccine Mandate Scenario

    Please let me know asap - and I will get the meeting scheduled (same BOD meeting link)

    Anne - I think we should schedule a Membership roundtable now to provide an open forum for members to ask, question, and learn about our plans/expectations/unknowns. Especially if we record and post it, this will help potential attendees both understand and feel better about whatever it is we decide tomorrow. I think we can schedule it now for Friday or Monday, even though we won't know its contents until tomorrow.
