MOTM 2019 theme - Community Could each of you look through the postings on Socialcast and find at least 2 quotable moments of community? They happened everyday it seems, so we should be able to find some really good ones. Thanks.

Here's one, on Sunday someone has an issue, got an answer, followed up and we now have a community solution. https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/messages/39183188?ref=stream

I always like to follow the Sage meetings with SocialCast running in another window. Here is one from June https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/groups/19003-businessofconsulting

Brilliant, the all hands meeting's running commentary is definitely ""community"". Unfortunately, we can't share it as an advert piece :(

Branding and Promos ideas for MOTM from meeting today; Session on Community - break-off into small teams, then come back together and present each teams ideas on 90 Minds community, what it is and how to grow Community Moments - Branding & Promo are gathering samples form Socialcast of community moments - we'll have ""Community Moments"" where the thread author shares the background on the post and their sense of community from the post. This could be scattered throughout the sessions, or held towards the end as part of the closing session. Community Dining - long tables as opposed to round - encourages conversation and meeting new people, we'll need ""dining managers"" to get people to fill-in the seats in order

Sorry I have been soooo busy. I have concerns about community dining as you are going to try and control a bunch of people who will not want to be controlled. With respect to the community, we might not be able to share the actual threads, but the idea of having real time conversation at a Sage meeting has value. In the old days the chat was public and the questions were answered. The real time collaboration allows for interpretation of the messages Sage is sending so that input to the Q&A with Sage can be focused and clear. Members of the BPAC can also clarify and ensure the messages are being properly received.

Yeah, the dining idea may become more like herding cats, if it worked it would be great, I've always wanted to see cats herded. The threads would be ""scrubbed"" of person IDs before sharing and the ""author"" of the thread would HAVE to give permission before the thread was included in the ""quotable moments"" at MOTM. These may be better displayed as a screen saver/scrolling message on the main screens between sessions, and that may be the best way to share a bunch of them. On the Sage presentation at the meeting - we'll have the Town Hall again, which is a Q&A of sorts with Sage. Sage usually responds with ""Linda may know that"" or ""just send any of us an email"" which aren't answers, just dodges. Not sure I follow what you mean by 'old days chat was public...' Old MOTM meetings?
