MotM 2013 Update - Spoke with Tom Miller today and said that we were looking for a $1,500 - $2,000 sponsorship of the meeting. In return, Sage would be given a 2 - 4 hour timeslot (depending on sponsorship level) to present topics of their choice. I said that members have expressed a desire to see more on mobile and a short update of Sage Intelligence. I said that it's possible that people would also be interested in some details on the product roadmap and the overall Sage roadmap but I would have to check with the group. Tom said that it seemed like a worthwhile investment and wanted to know: 1. Dates 2. Location 3. List of attendees (I would just list firms) What can I provide regarding the list of attendees? Should I provide a tentative list for now?

I'm fine with all this - when we get the list I'm ok with providing it to Tom. Just an observation that Sage can be difficult to get payment from. Make it an in advance by xx/yy/zz or you may chase them forever. Nice !

We could just give him a list of last year's attendees as there is a high probability that most will return. Add the new member firms then throw in a couple others for good measure. For his purposes, this should be sufficient to get the ball rolling. Agree with the payment deadline. Heaven only knows how totally screwed up their AP is. And no, we don't do CC's.

Any update on this? Who was going to post the agenda item list so we could start getting feedback for the top topics. Also, was someone going to set up the google sign up sheet so we could start seeing some names?

I volunteered to get feedback on the topics. I can also set up a google sign up sheet but ... does someone have a master list of 90 Minds members? Or should I just assemble it manually by going through the group member list in Social cast?

I have a master list of companies. I think one of the spreadsheets that I worked on also has the complete list of names. Will look later.

I thought we were posting up the agenda as it was on Google to let people vote on the topics that we had come up with. This would give them an idea of the topics which would allow them to start making reservations/plans and give us a chance to fine to the event based on user feedback.

Can someone help with the agenda vote list? I am headed out for a few days of vacation. When I get back I will post the signup sheet. I have a meeting next week with hotel. We will have about 3 weeks to 4 week finalize the sign-ups.

Thanks for creating the list - I roughed out some session times which would seem to give us room for 5 sessions a day starting Friday - perhaps a max of 15 overall though I'd like to see us leave some open times for networking and general discussion. Breaks are 30 minutes but in reality there has to be some room in them for sessions that go over. Friday February 15 9 am - 10 am - Session (90 Minds General Meeting kickoff) 10:00 to 10:30 Break 10:30 to 12:00 Session 12:00 to 1:30 Lunch 1:30 to 2:30 Session 2:30 to 3:00 Break 3:00 to 4:00 Session 4:00 to 4:30 Break 5:00 to 6:00 Session

And I'm unclear whether we'd have sessions Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I want to say last year we just met on Friday and Saturday and used Sunday as the optional assessment. If we do that again then we'd have room for a maximum of 10 session (2 days x 5 sessions/day)

I think Friday/Saturday with Sunday optional was last year. I would stay over on Sunday depending on the schedule.

All topics are great. Just depends on what group wants.

This was a prelim list - once I hear back from the rest of the admins, I will send out for votes. Question: does anyone mind if I solicit votes from everyone in 90 Minds? Or should I limit it only to those folks who expressed interest in attending?

Everyone in 90 Minds (not OASIS). This will give the entire group a chance to consider going. I think only about half responded the first time.

That list looks complete to me. And I don't think there's a stinker in the bunch. I agree it's 90 Minds only first round, but all 90 Minds.

You may be forced to just make an executive decision on agenda. Getting the group to vote and agree may very well be impossible. And I agree with Robert - I think the topics are all good with my main concern being I don't feel we should have any 4 hour sessions because our time together is way too short. We should go for smaller sessions -- if there's a huge desire we can followup with webcasts, etc. SMI still scares me because I don't think it can fit in 1 hour and I am unsure of the takeaway value of a longer session.

I think the executive decision will be forthcoming. In my mind, we are posting the tentative agenda to determine what is important to the attendees AND to generate interest in the conference. I am sure we will have some 11th hour adjustments prior to the meeting.

In large part, it's all about who is willing to present.

Ok - later today I will post it and do my best to gather votes with our fallback being @WayneSchulz suggestion of executive decision. I didn't see anything from @MarkChinsky or @JimWoodhead re: the agenda. Gentlemen, if you have any changes, please make them before end of day.

I just posted it out there. I was hoping to protect each column so users can only change their own data. Unfortunately, it's a nightmare to manage granular rights with so many people so we are going with the honor system. Let's see how the responses come in.
