Most of you are already doing this - but I think it's worth repeating.
When you do an upgrade to 2014 or 2013 you need to run the ""WksUpdate Standard.exe"" which is in the WKSETUP folder. It will setup the new Sage 100 PDF printer including pointing it to NUL port which Sage says is ok to leave.
As an example:
I did an upgrade from 4.4 to 2014 and still had to run both regular workstation setup (from the autorun in wksetup folder) and the ""WksUpdate Standard.exe"" in order to get the updated Sage 100 PDF printer.
You will have 2 PDF printers and Sage says it's ok to leave them
Also I found that the PU 8 for 2013 caused an issue where AP checks were giving ""Error 29 Program SWPROM Line 2225"" when prompted to automatically update the graphical check form - Installing PU 8 to existing 2013 user site - this turns out to be a problem with the MICR formula in the Crystal Reports based form. If you aren't using MICR you can comment out the contents of the formula or change the formula to match Sage's suggestion in the KB.
I did not see an issue with my 4.4 to 2014 PU 4 upgrades.
