More news from Sage. Today is Mike Ritchie's last day. He resigned to go to a new company.

In memory of Mike, I just ordered my first Sage Manufacturing.

Not terribly surprising. Mike seemed on-the-ball and while I think he was 5-7 years too late to make a difference at Sage I still liked him more than most of the other Sage VP's who've traveled the revolving door. What if we had Mike Ritchie instead of Sharon Jackman?

His new employer is getting a good hire. Good luck to him.

OMG. REALLY. ANOTHER one bites the dust!!! What is this world coming to?????? Or even better, where is this (sage) world heading???

He went to a company called Ellucian. He will be the VP of Product Management..

Sharon Jackman: Every year at Visions we would have a MAS 90 roundtable and she would berate people's suggestions.

As with so many others before him, Mike turns out to be the smart one.

My fond memory of Sharon is riding down in the elevator one year at Visions and asking why not beef up and create a better Bank Reconciliation since that's one module EVERY customer could use. She gave me a deer-in-the-headlights look and asked what was wrong with Bank Rec.

She did get the glory of announcing the NEW Business Framework!!!! And like so many others, she wasn't able to finish what she started....
