Our group expands with the generosity of the members.  Daily our members reach out to help, support, <g class="gr_ gr_44 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="44" data-gr-id="44">share,</g> and guide each other through our own experiences and our mutual experiences.  It's the members that make 90 Minds great.

We are inviting members to expand this generosity, adding their expertise to 90 Minds, through committees and our new project teams.

We have three regular committees that are active year-round:

Membership – Reviews new applications for membership, establish membership guidelines, resolves issues directly related to membership, and promotes engagement and interaction among the members.

Events – Selects venues and menus, engages entertainment, sets and runs registration, advertising, and manages the event.  Through events with members, the Events Committee promotes the celebration of 90 Minds ideals and the valuable contributions of the membership.

Education – Engages and manages presenters for webinars, events, and classes.  The Education Committee creates knowledge base articles, contributes to resource libraries, and promotes the growth of <g class="gr_ gr_43 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling" id="43" data-gr-id="43">membership</g> through knowledge, experience, and resources.

The year-round committees meet on a regularly.  The average commitment is between 4 to 10 hours a month and maybe more for short durations.  Committee members regular attendance is required to remain on the committee.  Each committee has a Higher Logic community that is used between meetings to share information, ideas, and updates.  Committees have 3-7 members, plus the Executive Director, and alternating Board Member representative.

We found that many members would like to volunteer but may not be able to make regular committee meetings.  We are introducing to the regular committee's Project Teams.  Project teams are short duration commitments centered on a specific project and may have 2+ members.  The Project Teams allow members to offer their expertise in smaller time commitments that fit their schedules.  Project Teams are administrated under regular committees.

If you are interested in joining a committee or volunteering for a Project Team, please complete the volunteer form, linked here

If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me, or post your questions to this thread.

Thank you for your unique contributions and generosity that make 90 Minds the best channel-resource for ERP resellers and consultants.

Moira's description of our need is pretty good. But you might miss a key benefit of volunteering:

    •       the fun of problem-solving among interesting peers!
Our committee work now tries hard to focus on addressing a project, to minimize the risk of getting lost in "yet another meeting sequence." We try to organize these so they accomplish their goals in 3 months or less.

I encourage everybody who thinks they might be interested to fill out the volunteer form. You can always say "no" later if the timing isn't right.
