I apologize that this is late, but I want to finalize draft correspondence with Sage management, what we plan to discuss, and what we want to accomplish.

I'll send out an invite on Friday. Thanks, John

    Attached are the following:

    1. Meeting Agenda 10-20-2025
    2. Rob Sinfield Update Details draft
    3. End Point 2025 Enhancements and Roadmap
    4. OM Corrections and Enhancements (from OMAC)
    5. Top 5 Program Requirements and Internal Support

I separated End Point enhancements from the OMAC enhancements. The Top 5 document is separate also. The previous "Changes" document has been integrated into the Master List.

    Thanks.

    John

    John:

I can only hope and trust that Sage and End Point appreciate the effort and thought put into their product by the OMAC.  My one recommendation is to be deferential to the team at Sage in recognition that they don't have to do anything, but it is in everyone's best interest that they do.   The letter to Rob ends with the last 3 directive sentences:

    1. "The members of the OMAC request we schedule a call with Sage management to review the current status, our objectives, and the attached documents.
    2. Our recommendation is for Mike Ritchie, Nate Bellhy, and you to attend that call.
    3. Based on the results of the call, we will move on to a call with End Point Automation Solutions, Sage, and OMAC."

    My thoughts are:

    • Specifically with respect to Rob Sinfield, He has an out of office response indicating he is "currently out of the office recuperating after a medical emergency"
    • The third point of conclusions is really the whole reason OMAC was founded.  "If End Point cannot deliver with regard to program corrections and enhancements, as well as adequate support of the channel for technical support, documentation, and training, then OMAC recommends identifying an alternative Master Developer."   Perhaps a statement in the first paragraph or an opening sentence which reminds him that "At Sage Summit we discussed the ongoing issues related to support and maintenance of Operation Management in the US Sage 100 product."  Then conclude the paragraph with some general statement indicating that "We came together to identify and advocate for actions which can benefit, Sage, OM customers as well as End Point and the reselling partners."  Then the letter goes into the thoughtful detail.
    • We need to be clearer, with out any perception of complaining or threat, why they want us to do this.  The letter states, "Our purpose is to represent the Solution Provider channel to establish the requirements for the long term strategy of Operations Management and the shorter term "Road Map."  However, it does not explain the benefit to Sage in clear terms.  Although Rob is clearly smart enough to "get it," it is beneficial to make this all about customer retention and Sage's bottom line

When you put this all together, the overall message and conclusion would be better with a positive affirmation regarding the benefit of Sage as opposed to a request for time: "Please let me know when you would be available in the next few weeks."  90 Minds is an advocate for Sage, its products, partners and customers.  Perhaps before asking for something we tell them what we are looking to accomplish through partnership.  "The OMAC would appreciate the opportunity to work in collaboration with Sage and OM for the benefit of our mutual customers!"
