  • 1.  Module Explorer tasks painfully slow after upgrading to 2018 PU6

    Client has a large number of customized views setup. Initially upgraded to 2018c Standard but after noticeable performance degradation I then upgraded them to 100c Advanced. This resolved module performance issues but the Explorer views are still painfully slow. Based on what I've seen, the Exapp.exe process for each view seems to be running locally not on the server. Does anyone have any tips to offer on how to boost performance here. Do they need to reconfigure their views from scratch? I had their IT check that anti virus wasn't scanning the exapp.exe already.

    Yes it processes locally but it will take advantage of the CS ODBC Driver. So if you set that up you should be good to go.
