Additionally, there's a lot of work to do on the ideation site, when available, before we can open it up to the general membership. I hope we have an opportunity to do that once ready.
So the whole MS team can see, here's the list of issues that we need to address.
- We'll need to create an 'Ideation' security group where I and others of the Mod Squad can perform admin duties to the Ideation site. Perhaps two tiers of admin, one with full access and another for limited admin rights. We can review what each should allow.
- We are not able to upload our existing idea list on our own so we'll need to find out the cost, what they call a "Task Order Fee". We'll need the template for uploading.
- We already have our list of Categories and Statuses when the time comes to set up the site.
- I don't see the ability to add custom fields. Their own idea site says it's on the roadmap. We can live without it for now, I suppose, and keep the additional information we need separately or in an official admin comment, but it would sure be handy when it becomes available.
- I'm not clear on whether you can set up multiple idea sites. We need to keep the Mod Squad's "Quick Wins" site separate from any other idea sites you may want, e.g. general 90 Minds community suggestions.
