**Mobile Sales** Client possibly interested in being able to look up Sage 100 information (e.g., item qtys) remotely from their mobile device. And also maybe be able to enter Sales Orders. It appears the solution/app from Scanco could do the trick?? I'm thinking the client could also consider just setting up an RDP connection from a tablet, although that probably would be a little tough from a cell.

We recently had a client go with iSales from xkzero for their remote salespeople. They really like it.

In a hosted environment, you wouldn't need an add-on product, just an internet connection for the device to access the hosted environment.

You mean like an RDP session, @MoiraGoggin?

I suppose that could work too. I was referring to cloud hosting, like GoToMyERP and IB-N supply, where the server is in the cloud and Sage 100 is accessed through a browser. Any device that can access an internet browser session would be able to view/use Sage. Smaller screens, like cell phones may be too small to be useful, tablet devices, and the like work fine.

Running sales order entry from a remote desktop on something other than a device with a keyboard and mouse that is not designed for the smaller screen does not work well. An example is running Sage CRM using a tablet with a remote desktop and then trying to enter an order. CRM works fine but order entry is most cumbersome.
