  • 1.  Missing source Journal ID's in new company?

    Set up a new company with activation of all the distribution modules.  Used a custom GL chart of account instead of copied chart of account.  2019. 2 The only journal that got created in GL is "NF".  What gives?  I thought the default journal ID's always got created.

    I thought they were created on the fly, as needed?

    So general consensus is no journals are created with a new company automatically until you being using a module, but you need to be careful of manually creating new journal ID's to skip creation of reserved source journal ID's the modules will create automatically.  I have not been able to locate a complete list of module-assigned (ie. reserved) journal ID's in the Sage documentation.
