  • 1.  Missing Field in Invoice Entry SO ALE Lookup - V2020

    Trying to filter the SO's available for invoicing by excluding SO's previously invoiced the the INV batch.  If the current invoice # is not blank, don't display the SO as available for invoicing in the ALE.

    The field is missing from the ALE as an option to select.

    Is it just me or is the field indeed missing as a selection?  Is there a data dictionary tweak available to allow it to display?  TIA

    Jeff, What Brett showed.  You have to scroll down to the Sales Order Header table to select the highlighted field.

    Well, it appears that there is a bit of inconsistency with the ALE lookup options.  This ALE has two options to use - One is the Standard/Back Order list (which I use) and the other is an ALL types of orders look up.  The currentinvoice # field does not display in the SB lookup but it does in the all types look up.  I guess I am not surprised by the Sage coding inconsistency.  If I opt for the currently used ALE, it is not available.  If I opt for the ALL lookup, I would also have to filter to keep the Master, recurring and quote orders from cluttering the look up.  It appears to be six of one, half a dozen of the other situation.  For the time being, a Sage WAD!
