  • 1.  Miscellaneous Item Maintenance Lookup - Extended Description

    The customer would like to have the extended description display in the AR Miscellaneous Item Maintenance ALE lookup.  Is there a way to create a formula that displays the standard description if the ExtendedDescriptionKey=0000000000 else display the extended description?  It's strange to have to add both the regular description and the extended description to the lookup.

    That is a great idea.  But from what I see the ALE "New Field" only allows math between numeric fields.  :(

    That's what it looked like to me also.  The new field calculator defaults to a numeric data type.  Very limited.
