  • 1.  MinnMinnesota is imposing a $0.50 delivery fee on taxable goods over $100 delivered within the state

    I have one customer this applies to and they have Avalara.  My understanding is the Sage 100 can use AvaTax's built-in tax rule for automatic fee calculation.  Has anyone in this group implemented the AvaTax soluton, and if so, what is the process?

    @Bob Pfahnl  Do you have any customers using DSD SO-1052?  If so, do you know if it can be used for more than one state?  Colorado has a similar delivery fee.  Can SO-1052 be set up to add the CO miscellaneous line and the MN miscellaneous, or is it line or the other?

    Not me personally, but DSD assuredly. The enhancement should work for both states. Confirm with enhacements@dsdinc.com.

    @Bob Pfahnl  per DSD - SO-1052 only allows for one state to be identified as having the Misc Charge added, so it's one of the other.  So if the customer does deliveries in MN and CO then the enhancement only works for one or the other not both.
