Migration from v4.3 to v4.5. I have about 15 Custom Sales reports appearing in Report Manager but they are not appearing on the SO Custom Reports menu. Any idea why they are not appearing but more importantly, is there a quick fix to bring them back to life on the menu? I can delete the report then add back, but was hoping to avoid this. Unfortunately, the reports are not appearing in Role maintenance so it looks like I'll have to delete them add them back.

Run Sy_Menu_UI and see if the reports are unchecked

Unfortunately, they don't appear. What is interesting, is when I delete the report then re-add it, it now comes up with a (1) designation.

I ended up deleting the reports in report manager. Closed report manager. Came back in, reports reappear (though not all). Delete them again. Repeat. Fewer reports. It takes me about five iterations of deleting reports before report manager opened without issue. What is the table where this information is stored? I looked is several of the usual suspects but there were no records pertaining to SO custom reports.

it's a little late since you've fixed it already @JeffSchwenk but could you have just re-migrated the system files and reports or did you try that?

Remigration wasn't even a consideration. Client has been live in v4.5 for two weeks. They just brought the missing reports to my attention last night (which they need for ME reporting). They were told many times to review the migration very closely to mitigate surprises. But who really does this????

I would be interested in any further info. I've seen this on other upgrades with similar difficulty getting rid of reports and having some that I've added show as (1). Usually I've just 'brute forced' the report updates as Jeff described.

Old KB article 492199 discusses removing form codes that show up after they have been deleted in Report Manager. Three files are apparently not always cleaned up. They are SY_ReportSetting.M4T, SY_ReportOption.M4T and SY_LastFormUsed.M4t.
