Sage 100

Getting close to a go live migration from v2017 - v2021.  In comparing the PDF log table  (..\MAS_System\PL_JournalPDFLog.M4T), there is a new posting date field in v2021.  Is there a way to do a conversion for these logs without going through a complete migration?  Do these tables convert during the individual company conversions?

Regrettably no.  Unless you re-migrate System files the PL_JournalPDFLog, PL_ReportPdfLog and PL_PeriodEndPDFLog will not have anything past the migration where system files were brought in.  My programmers at Compudata created a tool to update and add records to sync source to new location without having to re-migrate system files if you do not already have a tool like that in your arsenal already.  Let me know.  I live by these tools because generally will NOT redo  System Files Migration on my upgrades.  Now, as for company conversions, the PDF file for PL_FormsPDFLog is in fact in the dataset and will go through conversions and add any new records as needed for forms like statements, invoices, sales orders etc.

I thought someone previously mentioned that either 2020 or 2021 handled the PDF log files under MAS_System.
If it doesn't, you should be able to manually copy them and then use the SY_Activation_Bus approach to convert the SYS module.
