Sage 100

Client is on v2022 with WO.  They want to move to v2026, but want to migrate WO history.  Did Sage fix this in later versions of PM or is this a forever migration gap?  Does anyone have a workaround to move history?

I think history moves. I'm working on a WO to PM now and my client hasn't closed an WO for me to test this out but this blog post says that laster versions of PM do migrate WO history - https://www.dwdtechgroup.com/sage-100-mas-90-200/new-production-management-features-in-sage-100-2022/

I've used Gil Ponte on two PM projects with great results. If you want a second opinion or someone to handle the PM for you I recommend him highly. Just be sure you get with DSD on the agreement BEFORE beginning as they might also surprise you with wanting a written project plan and retainer mid-engagement.

The history does migrate.  The instructions Sage provides for the migration work unless the client has errors in their current Work Order files.  I've had 3 clients convert fine.  One had issues, I had to send Sage their data to figure out where the migration was erroring out.  Sage provided a file fix for that specific issue.
