    Hi everyone - quick note ahead of our meeting tomorrow.

    Our holiday virtual mixer is this week. I'm very unclear as to what platform we are using or as to who's going to be handling the trivia.  I do know that we have obtained some pretty nice 90 minds trivia.

    For the Holiday Virtual Social, we need to make a few very specific decisions so the event runs smoothly. In particular, we'll need help confirming:

    *1–2 people to administer the trivia portion of the event (selecting/using the trivia platform, running trivia live, and helping manage winners)

    *1 person to take the lead on the cocktail make-along (Patty is this you - do we need to send something ahead of time)?

    I'll be running Zoom, so these parts need to be owned by others. Please come to the meeting ready to volunteer or suggest who might be a good fit.

    Hi Anne,

    As I recall, we found that Zoom offered at least one option for handling the quiz.  Remember that meeting we had, and you pulled up the 'music' option?  I think you were going to explore it, or maybe it was Tom.  Nevertheless...here is info that may help:

    From your Zoom Workplace, select Apps.

    Use the search Apps, and enter LivePoll.  

    Select LivePoll, you have the options of joining or hosting a poll:

    Here are the highlights:

    Create a poll before a meeting

    1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
    2. In the navigation menu, click Meetings.
    3. Click the name of the meeting you want to add a poll to or click Schedule a Meeting to schedule a new meeting.
    4. If you are editing an existing meeting, click the Polls/Quizzes tab. If you are scheduling a new meeting, click Save, then click the Polls/Quizzes tab.
    5. Click + Create.
    6. Click the title Untitled Poll... to give the poll a name.
    7. Review the question types and configuration options, then select the question type for the first question.
    8. (Optional) For single choice question types, click the Create breakout rooms toggle if you want to enable breakout room creation based on poll results.
    9. (Optional) Click + Add Question to add another question to the poll.
    10. (Optional) Click gear icon at the top right to configure the following options:
      • Require answers to be anonymous
    11. (Optional) Click the preview icon  to see a preview.
    12. (Optional) Click Save to allow the poll to be started during meetings.

     HI all - Our meeting is today at 1pm in order to prepare for the Virtual Mixer on Thursday.  This is the only purpose of this meeting.  

    I have signed up for Kahoot 360 and have geared up some trivia modules for review.
