Here is an interesting challenge.  User is currently using v2020 PREMIUM.  They have purchased a company using v2020 STANDARD.  User wants to bring the STD database over to their PREMIUM database so they can maintain separate companies on one Sage version until the first of the year.

As I see it, there are two issues:

    1)  Premium vs STD database.  How to migrate the STD to PREMIUM?
    2) Encryption keys - Is it even possible?

There's a way around the encryption keys?  Interesting.
Watch for UserKey changes to preserve the audit trail (of who did what in the previous system).

    Edit: ...and UDF's.

    1. Log onto Sage Standard
    2. Create a copy of the company code
    3. Logon to Sage Premium
    4. Using DFDM go into SY_Company
    5. Bring up one of the existing company records
    6. Scroll to the bottom
    7. Copy the AESEncryption Key
    8. Save to notepad or somewhere
    9. Log back onto Sage Standard
    10. Change company code to copy company
    11. Using DFDM
      1. Edit AR_Options by changing the AESEncryption to what was copied from Premium
      2. Edit AP_Options by changing the AESEncryption to what was copied from Premium
      3. Edit PR_Options by changing the AESEncryption to what was copied from Premium
    12. I believe it is just those 3 modules but check the Options table for each and change as needed
    13. Exit Sage Standard
    14. Now copy MAS_XXX to your MAS90\   Premium directory
    15. Logon to Sage Premium
    16. Go into Company Maintenance
    17. Create the 3 Letter company code created during the copy phase in Sage Standard
    18. Click on Activate
    19. Sage will see the data and tell you to do conversions
    20. Complete conversions as needed
    21. If the user wants to retain the same company code then copy converted company code to desired code
    22. Test make sure all working and Sage is happy

    Contact me if needed
