  • 1.  Merge Paperless Journal and Register After Going Live

    UGHH!  I somehow did not copy the PL_JOURNALPDFLOG.M4T over to the new version after taking them live from 2020 to 2021.  There are 47 new posted journals. I tried the below, however it says file does not exist.  The PL_LOGMERGE file I have is dated 07/08/2017.  The server and paperless path are the same as the previous version. Any other way besides manually creating records in the table?

    1) Copy attached program(PL_LOGMERGE)  to SOA folder in 5.10 system

    2) Copy Pl_JournalLogPdf.M4T to Pl_JournalLogPdfOld.M4T in the MAS_SYSTEM folder of  v4.30 system

    3) Copy the new file (Pl_JournalLogPdfOld.M4t)  to the Same location on 5.10 system

    4) Run "SYZCON"  at File/Run to drop to prompt

    5) At Prompt  type following  RUN "PL_LOGMERGE"

    6) Program will run

    7) Click "DONE" when finished

    Check your file names. I'm pretty sure I've done this recently and it worked without issue. Make sure you copied the files to the right folders, etc.

    I did have the file name wrong,the period was missing between Old and M4T.  I looked at the spelling many times before I finally saw it!  Thanks!
