  • 1.  Menus and Ribbons blank

    I have a client that came in this morning and all menus and ribbons are blank for all users from all workstations.  I setup a workstation from a copy and have the same issue.  They obtained a new update to their antivirus and I thought it was related but even after stopping the service and ending the tasks related to PC Pitstop, I am having the same issue.  This is Sage 100 2016 standard PU5.  Need some help on this one.

    Did you look for a virus?  It seems to me that was Encrypto symptoms when I deal with that a long time ago.

    Is MNUMOD.TXT blank in \MAS90\LAUNCHER? 

    I have a customer where after we try updating menus with SY_MENU_UI they were receiving blank menus and when we looked at MNUMOD that file was empty and we had to restore from a backup. 

    Have not completely resolved this. Am still playing the game titled "It can't be ______ because we are able to run Office 365 ok". Once they get tired of restoring MNUMOD.TXT they'll probably spend more time debugging what's wrong environmentally on their end.

    I have seen ransomeware make Sage behave this way - hope it is not the case here.
