Welcome to 90 Minds! I see that Robert Wood has set up your account in Social Cast. I'll be your Membership Mentor to help you benefit from the group and answer any questions.
Attached you will find guides to using Social Cast mobile for Android and iOS. All of these features apply to the desktop version of Social Cast as well. Please let me know if you have any questions after reviewing this documentation. Please note, 90 Minds runs on Vegas Rules what happens in 90 Minds stays in 90 Minds. The other two guides will help you understand our posting rules and cover most of the common questions. If you don't see what you need, please feel free to ask.
After logging into Social Cast, you'll find useful profile options to customize your experience. (Under Settings the gear icon next to your picture, or Stephen Kelly picture if you haven't updated your profile picture). Beside your name, and organization, you can set your profile picture, contact preferences and notification settings. I encourage you to explore these options and update them as soon as possible.
Use the Explore Option (gear icon, select Explore) and select Groups to see a list of groups available for you to join. Click the green Join button to be added to that group. You can only view and post to groups you have joined. The more you join the more you'll benefit.
Following in Social Cast is a good thing! By following members, messages from fellow members display under your Home Stream, making it easier to see the latest posts. To follow, use the Explore Option and this time select People. Click the green Follow button to follow that member.
90 Minds has many members from various backgrounds. Please take the time to post information on your background. Under the initial post featuring you (Welcome to 90 Minds) post a comment about your background and experience. We really are a community and knowing more about each other helps all the members and you too.
