  • 1.  Membership Invoicing Announcement of Changes

    Since we made several changes to invoicing this year, I thought it would be best to make an announcement of the changes to the membership.

    1. Membership renewals are on one schedule now, November 1 to October 31.
    2. Firm dues and membership fees are detailed on invoices.
    3. Invoices are emailed from QuickBooks (check your email filters)
    4. Payment options included all major credit cards and PayPal

    Anything else?  Anything to change?

    @Jim Woodhead would you please review and approve as Treasurer?

    Good idea. Also ensure that the announcement is clear about how to conveniently ask questions about the policy or the individual invoice.

    I agree.  We want to make sure that we don't have people asking questions about invoices on the general feed.  We want to make sure that how they can get answers is convenient.

    Higher Logic Event Module only works with 3 payment processing firms, PayPal, Stripe, and CyberSource.  I'd like to work with an Affiliate, too, unfortuneatly, it's not an option.

    Attached is the list of invoices; zero balance means payment's received.


    @Jim Woodhead if you log into QuickBooks, select Sale, Invoices, the list displays what invoices have been viewed (most).  Do we still need to send an email since most members are opening the invoice emails?  I'm not trying to get out of anything; I'm just wondering whether sending another email out about the invoices that we've already sent to the member(s) has already been read (or paid).

    Based on your text that only 13 invoice have not been opened.  I think we are probably good. Although an quick email to all the billing emails with a recap of the announcement should be pretty simple and wouldn't hurt.  Add a line in the breginning that many have already see and/or  paid the invoice but just we just wanted to clarify the announcement.

    What a great idea, @Jim Woodhead, I'll get that out by tomorrow.  I'm going to the Acumatica launch event today.  Maybe we'll have more invoicing as we recruite new members!
