    Membership Committee - new members + conference connection

    I'm excited to share that we've welcomed 20+ new members into the 90 Minds community over the past several weeks 🎉 This growth is exciting - and it's also where thoughtful connection really matters.

    I'm planning to host a New Member Meetup at the conference to help onboard, connect, and orient our newest members. I'm still finalizing the timing and format, but the intention is to create a warm, low-pressure space for introductions and relationship-building early in their 90 Minds experience.

    In the meantime, I'd love support from the Membership Committee in helping us personally welcome and connect these new members ahead of the conference.

    Ways you can help:

    • Volunteer for 1:1 outreach (email or LinkedIn) to a few new members

    • Act as a connector, helping introduce new members to:

      • other members with shared interests

      • relevant committees or working groups

      • conference sessions or events they should prioritize

    • Help host or support the New Member Meetup at the conference once timing is confirmed

    • Share ideas to strengthen onboarding and early engagement

    I attached the list of all new members so we can make assignments to keep this easy and manageable.

    • how many new members you're open to reaching out to

    • whether you'd like to help with conference-based welcoming as well

    I'm willing to be a Co-Host at MOTM's for a "new member" meet up.  Maybe in a "snack area" between the main conference rooms and the set of restrooms, or outside those doors on a patio?  Then again, you are so much more familiar with the layout, I trust you to find the "perfect spot".  Even a certain "fire pit" on Thursday Night for "new members" could work.  

    I'm willing to reach out to the new members via email. I can do the first 10 on the Sheet 1 of the listing, (or the whole list) if no one else volunteers.   Just let me know @Anne Sawyer, if I should focus on just these 10; or them all.  A few of these are prior members, moving around to new Companies.

    I can take the BCS Team! Madeline, would you have 10 minutes for me early next week to go over what you normally share with new members so I make sure to cover everything?

    I can also help with any MOTM spots needed!
