Committee Membership

Let's use this thread to collect our thoughts about what Member Profiles should include or emphasize. I think we need both details and goals.

I'll take a stab at the purpose and goals of the profiles. 

• Contact info enabling members to contact others outside of HL.
• Location info to enable searches for members in a geographic area. Appeals through HL for local contacts often are not effective, so being able to find members in, say "Central TX" or "Louisiana" through the profiles mean that we could reach out via email or phone.
• ERP systems actively supported. I think we should have one answer for the firm and another for the member. Sage 100, Sage Intacct, Acumatica are obvious, but also Microsoft, NetSuite, SAP B1, etc. are relevant to our questions from customers and prospects. I think also stating how long they've supported the brand, and what % their current business comes from them is helpful.
• I think we should have a section for education, similar to LinkedIn. Same for past experience. These help trigger questions and comments for conversations, enabling connections.
• Of course, a LinkedIn link. When we get curious about another member, this is a go-to
• Some sort of space allowing some discussion of their strengths. Perhaps some memorable "wins." Some challenges they are proud of meeting. 
• For personal connection building, talking about "hobbies" is always useful.
