Meeting of the Minds (MOTM) 2.0 We want to take a quick poll of 90 Minds members to see if that they are interested in attending another Meeting of the Minds event. We have been thinking of having the same format as last time with 2 full days of training and a follow-up date for certifications Feb 15 - 17, 2013. We have also done some preliminary legwork on a location and we feel that San Diego would be a good site again. Although this time it would be held entirely at the Embassy Suites. We are definitely in the preliminary stages so nothing is set in stone yet but in order to get the best rates we will need to get a firm commitment from all attending ASAP. ** At this point the event will only be for full 90 Minds members. Note: We will be utilizing the Meeting of the Mind Socialcast group for planning the meeting so let us now if you are not a member of that group and need an invite to that group. **BTW POLL should read FEB 15 - 17, 2013 ********* Friday FEB 15 thru Sunday FEB 17 ***** For those of you that didn't attend I have attached the Agenda from the our 1st MOTM last February.

It is president's day weekend so Monday is a holiday. San Diego is a great place to spend that weekend at!!

I'm a maybe. Going on vacation 2-9th so just getting back and not sure if I can come out to San Diego just week later.

How many members attended last year?

I'll have to count fro the picture that we took.

I think that we had about a dozen?

we had 18 people last year.

I'm thinking about 20 or so.

It was 18 last year.

Remember that during this time we also have an optional assessment study day if required. Last year assessments were due by the end of February I think (not sure of due date this year ).

I'm a firm believer that group cohesion is good for a group like this. Only so much can happen remotely, so an annual meeting like this is good. The agenda is important, too - last years looked great, but we can't just repeat it. I'm looking forward to the process of figuring out what learn over the 2 days.

February is my month to escape the gloom of Oregon, but if I don't then for sure!

We would be more than happy to disclose the details of the meeting but everyone signed a ""Las Vegas"" statement. Sorry, for more incite of the fun, you have to be there....

You know, I wondered about that. Was going to change my response to the poll.... ;) Someone did mention it was a Meeting of the Men + one Mom (or something similar - @DebThomas was that you?).

Ahem, I believe there were two women! We are hoping to DOUBLE the count.

I suppose we could tag along with Dan B to his vacation hideaway, though it might require a week in total....

Please lets also NOT commit to any vendors yet. Last year I thought some of them were going to make 15 minute presentations and it turned into an entire session. If they want that type of time they should be paying us for it. Exception would be Altec who more than paid by sponsoring our outing on the last night.

One of us will definitely be there. Probably both of us as Rob and I felt it was time well spent!

Yes it was me, but we were laughing at the last meeting that it was the Meeting of the Men +1. And then I was ""saved"" when Christine arrived! Regarding the restaurant I was pretty skeptical the choice, but it was an interesting place. Though the wine selection could be better ;) . As for the meeting next February, count me in!

Oh, the details, the details!!!!! I had my big picture hat on. Oops. @BethBowers - Just black out those dates NOW and put it in your monthly newsletter for the next four months. They'll get the hint. Besides, for the group activity, the girls tug of war team needs all the help they can get..............
