Re: Meeting of the Minds 2026 – Sales, Sponsorship, and Hotel Pace Update

    Executive Summary

Meeting of the Minds 2026 is demonstrating strong early momentum across consultant registrations, sponsorship commitments, and hotel pickup. Compared to the same point last year, consultant engagement is significantly ahead of pace, sponsorship revenue is largely secured, and hotel pickup is trending positively toward required thresholds.

    Consultant Registration Update

A corrected, same-point comparison of consultant ticket sales shows meaningful year-over-year improvement.

    • 2025 (as of January 15): 16 consultant tickets sold

    • 2026 (current): 36 consultant tickets sold

    This reflects:

    • +20 consultant tickets

    • +125% increase year over year at the same point in the registration cycle

This early commitment is notable given that consultant registrations have historically skewed late. The current trend suggests stronger early engagement and confidence in the 2026 conference.  Early Bird Rate is extended to 1/31.

    Sponsorship Update

Sponsorship sales for MOTM 2026 are strong and largely complete, with top-tier inventory effectively sold out.

    • Total sponsorship revenue committed: $203,550.00

    • Exclusive Diamond Sponsor: Sage ($45,000)

    • Platinum / Platinum Plus Sponsors:
DSD, ScanForce, CIM Cloud, Summit Hosting, Fortis

    • Gold / Gold Plus Sponsors:
V-Tech, ZAP, Certipro, My CRM Manager, SPS Commerce, Nuvei/Paya, Avalara, Kissinger & Associates, Caveo Pay, eBiz, and others

    • Intacct-Focused Sponsors:
Corpay, Velixo, Workforce2Go, ServiceTrade, VersaPay (almost sold out)

Sponsorship revenue is tracking in line with the FY26 conference budget, and sponsor engagement reflects strong confidence in the expanded Sage 100 + Intacct dual-community model. Remaining opportunities are primarily limited to select Gold-level and add-on placements.

Hotel Pace & Room Block Update

Loews Coronado Bay Resort – MOTM 2026

As of January 12, 2026, hotel pickup continues to build steadily:

    • Total rooms contracted: 590

    • Rooms picked up to date: 252

    • Current pickup percentage: 42.7%

    • Required pickup by cutoff: 85%

    • Cutoff date: February 12, 2026

Pickup has accelerated notably since early December, with strong concentration on peak conference nights (Monday–Wednesday). While additional pickup is still required, the current pace is consistent with historical booking behavior, particularly as more attendees finalize travel plans closer to the event.  The hotel is sold out Monday and Tuesday, so we have secured rooms at a nearby resort: https://www.gloriettabayinn.com/

    Overall Assessment

    Taken together:

    • Consultant registrations are more than double last year’s pace at this point

    • Sponsorship revenue is largely secured and on plan and still coming in!

    • Hotel pickup is tracking appropriately for this stage of the cycle

Meeting of the Minds 2026 is well positioned heading into the peak registration and housing window. Continued focus over the next 30–45 days will be on driving remaining attendee registrations, firm-level participation, and final hotel pickup to meet contractual thresholds.

Please let me know if you would like any additional detail or breakdown ahead of the meeting.

with strong concentration on peak conference nights (Monday–Wednesday) ...

Why is this peak? Does this show people are not staying Thursday evening for Friday sessions?

    Anne:

Thanks for providing these updates and keeping the Board up to date between meetings!

Our room block varies by date.  With the conference historically starting Thursday with Wednesday as pre-conference our Tuesday commitment has historically been lower and we were also oversold last year at Margaritaville (which was harder to get to).  We should definitely increase the Tuesday block next year.

    This is a "good" problem.
