Meeting of 7/1/2013 - Peter, Jeff, Jim, Therese 1. Shirts are to be delivered to Jeff ~ 7/11. 2. No update on SC. Still no invoice/payment. 3. Jeff and Jim to coordinate food, etc. for Hospitality Suite and MOTF. 4. Need an agenda for Admin Summit meeting, tentatively assigned to Robert (that's what happens when you don't attend!) to be distributed prior to Summit. Some suggestions: - Financial review; - How to use funds to improve/better the group? - Charging vendors for listing webinars, etc.; - Bylaws; - Leadership of the group; - Hiring someone to do the grunt work of the group; - Class of 2013 full membership candidates; - Next year's dues; - Future of SC. 5. Taxes to be filed as 501(c)6(?) although no confirmation yet. (Wayne may have update?) Next meeting week of 7/15 if necessary? Now that I'm posting this, Jim may suggest axing me from the group....

I have received notification from Therese that the shirts will be arriving at my office on Monday. She also sent a project reconciliation indicating a net surplus of $62. Since we are in the black, I recommend that we pay for her shirt with the surplus funds. She worked very hard to bring this project to fruition and I think it is only fitting that we offer this small token of appreciation! Please vote with me to say ""Thank you"" for going the extra mile!

Here is the tentative budget for MOTF. So far, we are still in the black.

LOL - first nice job but I think you should put the subsidy at the end to give a truer picture of P&L. This is like a government budget...

you should make an accrual for SC in case they figure out we should have been billed

@JimWoodhead has promised that a bill for 6K should be promised shortly (whatever their definition of shortly is).

Hey I am not complaining but I already asked for the bill more than once. We are a small potato so they will send one when they are ready. It is supposed to be $6k

PS - @JeffSchwenk and @ThereseLogeais Thank you for making this session a blowout success. I expected at most maybe 10 people and you guys more than doubled that amount. Great job. Did we comp both of your attendance? If not I move that we do so and that it comes from outside the est $2,500 subsidy.

@JeffSchwenk did the work for the MOTF so I vote he gets his fee waived.

I'll vote to comp Jeff, if the budget allows for it.

@ThereseLogeais is being a bit low key regarding her contribution to the MOTF conference. While it is true that I took the lead on this project, I couldn't have done it without her behind the scenes assistance. When I was short of time, she pitched in to help with the agendas and the CPE invite. Her efforts and insight for the meals, refreshments and room configuration were very welcomed. Finally, let's not underestimate the effort required for shirt project. While she was comp'd A shirt, her time on this project was considerable. I believe she is deserving of at least half the symposium cost if not the full value. Currently, we will have $1,000 surplus for the event. And there is adequate reserves to do as Wayne suggested and comp her from outside the est.$2,500 event subsidy. As such, I vote to comp her entire MOTF fee.
