Meeting in February. Where are we at with this? Last I recall, Wayne was going to determine if 2/9 - 2/12 was going to work for him.

We have a meeting of the minds group in Socialcast. I can't find in my notes where this group was waiting on me for a decision but it's possible. Please keep everything in Meeting of the Minds. In my calendar I have February 9 to 13 penciled in. We had EXTENSIVE discussions around football/superbowl, avoiding the Valentines day holiday, avoiding ITA conference.

Are we going to offer a cash payment to Alnoor/Myron to teach the class and to assist offsetting the travel expenses.

My feeling is that each member who attends should also take a turn presenting at some future event. IF we pay now I think it's going to get messy down the road as everyone may feel entitled to pay and then we'll have to figure out who did a big portion of a presentation vs just a little, etc. I'm not opposed to paying -- just bringing up what I think could be an issue (starting the precedent may mean we keep debating who gets paid vs not, etc)

While a good idea, I share Wayne's opinion that we use the group's collective expertise to share in the presenting burden. Alnoor/Myron/Dan Burleson for scripting, Eric for SMI, John for Office of the Future/Abra, me for Pivot Tables, Dan Burleson is an Access wizard and of course, Peter for SageCRM We could also do presentations on Knowledgesync, JobOps, Avalara, Biznet, FAS, etc.
