Maybe it's just me or maybe it's how I was brought up, but if I'm on the phone assisting a client, and I lose them after say 30min, I call them back. Now don't get me wrong, if I don't have their contact #/info (which is pretty much not a valid excuse based on all the resources we have around us) then I'm somewhat limited, but not the case in this situation - which as some of you probably already guessed/assumed I'm talking about Sage.
