  • 1.  Master Console Refresh

    Is there a way to stop the automatic refresh in Master Console? Customer has 60 users and they need to see who is doing what and in which company. They click on the Company column to sort it that way but by the time they get to the middle of the list, MC refreshes and goes back to it's default sort. They are Sage100 Advanced v2015.

    Could you write a Crystal or perhaps even an Excel query.  Refresh the query and there are all 60 users in a static list.

    I too have thought that to be a nuisance at times.  One option is to maximize the Master Console screen, do your sort, and quickly do a print-screen - although it's possible that all sessions/records won't fit on a single screen.  I wonder if you could also optionally bring up the main screen of Application Server Configuration on the server, but I don't recall what exactly shows there and whether you can sort - and of course it's possible that screen auto-refreshes, too.

    Brett, I looked at the Configuration screen. Not much info there. Also it would have to be done on the server, regular users will not have access. The screenshot is a good idea but it would be a race against time. It refreshes like every 20 seconds.

    Why does it HAVE to be done at the server?  Because that is where you have access?.  You can create an Excel query from any workstation and look at the data.  Simple, quick and an easy refresh when they need to see.  Very similar to a Crystal report but IMHO much faster.
